Artist's bio

I've lived in southeastern South Dakota most of my life. I grew up here and returned to the area when I began having my own children, lured back by the peaceful, slow-paced, wholesome environment. I'm struck by the rugged beauty of dilapidated corn cribs, rusting grain elevators, abandoned outbuildings. And, I am constantly awed by the exquisite beauty of the Missouri River basin.
